While the 25-year-old from California only has one Masters start under his belt (T-50 last year), he brings some outstanding current form to Augusta this week, with two victories this season, giving him four for his career. He won the World Golf Championships event in China and also beat a star-studded field at Tournament of Champions. Two key stats we always look at for the Masters is bogey avoidance and par 5 scoring and Xander ranks in top 10 on TOUR this season in both categories, so getting a 40-to-1 price on him is simply too good to pass up.

It’s only a matter of time before the cerebral DeChambeau wins a major, so why not this week? Like Schauffele, DeChambeau, who ranks No. 2 on TOUR in par 5 scoring, has little Masters experience (21st in 2016 and 38th in 2018), but we love how he handled the testy Augusta fairways last year. It was his putting that cost him dearly, but he has dramatically improved his play on the greens (ranks No. 11 on TOUR in putting average) this season, where he already has a win and five other Top 15 finishes. The Mad Scientist is primed for a big week!

Casey is a Masters veteran and has had great success here, posting five Top 10s in 12 career starts. Last year, despite ranking deadlast in fairways hit for the week, he still managed to finish 15th. He’s tied for sixth this year in TOUR in par 5 scoring and he alway brings superb current form, with four top 10 finishes in his last six starts, including a victory at last month’s Valspar Championship. We’ll call for Casey to once again be in contention and gladly take the 30-to-1 price.

Yes, we realize the methodical Cantlay has very little past success or experience at the Masters (in two starts he finished 47th and missed the cut), but at 60-to-1, we can’t help but take a shot on him this week as he has been making us money all season. The fact is, if he makes it to the weekend he is dangerous. In the eight tournaments he has made the cut in this season, his worst two finishes were T-17 and T-24. In the other six events he placed in the Top 15. Lots of value on this one, so let’s scoop the big price and ride the red-hot Cantlay.
